Hon Kieran McAnulty to the Minister of Transport: What is the forecast completion date for SH22 (Drury) Corridor Upgrade – interim works, Auckland, and how has that changed since its inclusion in the Government’s 20 July 2025 Beehive press release titled “Infrastructure projects to drive jobs and growth”?

Hon Chris Bishop: As noted in the project webpage, subject to consent approval and the successful procurement of a contractor, the interim upgrade at the SH22/Jesmond Road intersection will begin in late 2025 and take around 6 months to complete.
