Hon Kieran McAnulty to the Minister of Transport: Has SH29 Tauriko – Omanawa Bridge – Bay of Plenty experienced any delays, cost overruns, or scope changes since its inclusion in the 20 July 2025 Beehive press release titled “Infrastructure projects to drive jobs and growth”, and if so, what are the reasons, as at 17 October 2025?

Hon Chris Bishop: No. There have been no changes to the approved budget and expected completion date since approval to progress to construction in June 2025.
