50235 (2024). Francisco Hernandez to the Minister of Police: How many staff, if any, were employed in the Minister's departments, if any, on 1 July 2023 that worked on greenhouse gas emissions reduction efforts, categorised by whether they worked on organisational/corporate emissions reduction or nationwide emissions reduction or both?

Hon Mark Mitchell: I am advised that no staff were specifically tasked with reducing greenhouse gas emissions or climate adaptation or national climate change adaption as at 1 July 2023 and 1 July 2024. In regards to the The Serious Fraud Office (SFO), the SFO does not employ any staff whose primary function relates to reducing greenhouse gas emissions or climate change adaption. Responsibility for the Carbon Neutral Government Programme sits with the Manager Corporate Services. This is also my response to Written Parliamentary Questions 50240, 50242 and 50249 (2024).
