50234 (2025). Hon Kieran McAnulty to the Minister of Transport: How many people have been employed directly or indirectly on SH1 Ōtaki to north of Levin, Horowhenua, as at 17 October 2025?

Hon Chris Bishop: I am advised that NZ Transport Agency Waka Kotahi currently has approximately 17 FTE working on this project. It is not possible to accurately quantify the number of people who have worked on this project since its inception. It is important to note that staff work across multiple projects at any one time.
