50225 (2024). Francisco Hernandez to the Minister for Māori Development: How many staff, if any, were employed in the Minister's departments, if any, on 1 July 2024 that worked on climate change adaptation, categorised by work on corporate/organisational climate adaptation or national climate change adaptation or both?

Hon Tama Potaka: I interpret the member's question as referring to any Te Puni Kōkiri employees working solely on climate change adaption. I am advised by Te Puni Kōkiri that while it has employees who carry out work related to the field of climate change adaption as part of its existing work programmes, on 1 July 2024 it did not have any employees solely dedicated to this field of work.
