Francisco Hernandez to the Minister for Māori Development: How many staff, if any, were employed in the Minister's departments, if any, on 1 July 2024 that worked on greenhouse gas emissions reduction efforts, categorised by whether they worked on organisational/corporate emissions reduction or nationwide emissions reduction or both?

Hon Tama Potaka: I interpret the member's question as referring to any Te Puni Kōkiri employees working solely on greenhouse gas emissions reduction efforts. I am advised by Te Puni Kōkiri that while it has employees who carry out work related to the field of greenhouse gas emissions reductions as part of its existing work programmes, on 1 July 2024 it did not have any employees solely dedicated to this field of work.
