50196 (2025). Hon Kieran McAnulty to the Minister of Housing: Further to his reply to Question 47340 (2025), on what date were each of the previous tenants, if any, at the three Reseda Place, Papatoetoe, Auckland units first asked to move, because their house was being put on the market and on what date, if at all, were they provided with a new home?
Hon Chris Bishop: Kāinga Ora – Homes and Communities advises me that the three tenancies at Reseda Place were all first contacted on 1 November 2021 regarding investigatory work into redeveloping the properties. The properties were initially investigated for redevelopment which led to the rehousing of the tenants. The redevelopment plans were later determined to not be feasible and the decision to sell the properties was made. Two tenancies ended in November 2022 and one ended in December 2022. All three tenancies were moved to other Kāinga Ora homes.
