Hon Paul Goldsmith: I am advised that, on 1 July 2023, two staff in the Ministry of Justice worked on organisational/corporate climate change adaptation. None worked on nationwide emissions reduction. This answer covers roles that are specifically focused on sustainability and the Ministry’s carbon footprint and excludes roles that undertake work in the property teams, for example, that implement property projects that result in reductions to the Ministry’s emissions.
