Francisco Hernandez to the Minister of Housing: How many staff, if any, were employed in the Minister's departments, if any, on 1 July 2023 that worked on greenhouse gas emissions reduction efforts, categorised by whether they worked on organisational/corporate emissions reduction or nationwide emissions reduction or both?

Hon Chris Bishop: I am advised by Kāinga Ora – Homes and Communities that as at 1 July 2023, there were 11 staff members working at Kāinga Ora whose duties included emissions reduction to some extent, of these: • 10 had duties that included nationwide greenhouse gas emissions reduction • 1 was focused on corporate emissions reduction. I am advised by the Ministry of Housing and Urban Development that as at 1 July 2023, two staff members broadly worked on national greenhouse gas emissions reductions policies. One staff member broadly worked on organisational/corporate greenhouse gas emissions reduction.
