50150 (2025). Hon Kieran McAnulty to the Associate Minister of Housing: In what form was he first informed of the case of a homeless pregnant woman in Masterton whose application for emergency housing was declined by Work and Income?

Hon Tama Potaka: I was first informed by my staff who showed me a media story about a homeless pregnant woman who had been sentenced for shoplifting in Masterton in the Wairarapa Times Age. This was on Tuesday 14 October after I recieved notification of an Oral Parliamentary Question from the member.
