50149 (2025). Hon Kieran McAnulty to the Associate Minister of Housing: On what date did he or his office first receive any correspondence, report, or information concerning the case of a homeless pregnant woman in Masterton whose application for emergency housing was declined by Work and Income?

Hon Tama Potaka: The Wairarapa Times newspaper reports were included as part of a Daily Media report to one staff member. This contained the word 'pregnant' on Friday 10th October but did not on Friday 3rd October 2025. There were around 100 other media articles included in the report on Friday 10th October. The staff member did not read the email in full.
