50144 (2025). Hon Kieran McAnulty to the Associate Minister of Housing: Has he or his office provided any instructions, advice, or feedback to the Ministry of Social Development or Kāinga Ora about emergency housing for pregnant women since 27 November 2023, if so, on what date(s)?

Hon Tama Potaka: After becoming aware of the newspaper articles in the Wairarapa Times during Oral Parliamentary Question preparation, I instructed officials at the Ministry of Social Development (MSD) to investigate this operational matter on Tuesday 14th October. Kāinga Ora is not responsible for emergency housing.
