50141 (2025). Hon Kieran McAnulty to the Associate Minister of Housing: What are the dates and attendees of any meetings he has had with officials or external organisations about emergency housing access for women, including pregnant women, since 27 November 2023?

Hon Tama Potaka: I regularly meet with officials and a wide range of stakeholders on the subject of various housing assistance to support those in need. Whilst emergency housing may have come up in these meetings, I do not have a record as to whether the specific topic of emergency housing for women, including pregnant women, would have come up in meetings. It would take a considerable amount of time to collate this information. Therefore, in accordance with Speaker’s Ruling 210/6, I consider that the time, and hence expense, of answering this question cannot be justified as a matter of public interest.
