50140 (2025). Hon Kieran McAnulty to the Associate Minister of Housing: What actions, if any, has he taken in response to being made aware of the case of a homeless pregnant woman in Masterton whose application for emergency housing was declined by Work and Income?

Hon Tama Potaka: While we were unable to discuss details of the case beyond what is in the public domain, I instructed officials at the Ministry of Social Development (MSD) to investigate this matter on Tuesday 14th October.
