Francisco Hernandez to the Minister of Customs: How many staff, if any, were employed in the Minister's departments, if any, on 1 July 2023 that worked on greenhouse gas emissions reduction efforts, categorised by whether they worked on organisational/corporate emissions reduction or nationwide emissions reduction or both?

Hon Casey Costello: I am advised that the New Zealand Customs Service did not employ any staff to specifically work on greenhouse gas emissions reduction efforts on 1 July 2023. However, some staff may have worked on greenhouse gas emissions reduction efforts as part of their wider duties or to support other agencies’ work.
