Francisco Hernandez to the Minister of Corrections: How many staff, if any, were employed in the Minister's departments, if any, on 1 July 2023 that worked on climate change adaptation, categorised by work on corporate/organisational climate adaptation or national climate change adaptation or both?

Hon Mark Mitchell: I am advised that as at 1 July 2023 and 1 July 2024, Corrections had two staff whose main duties include coordinating work on climate resilience and/or climate change mitigation initiatives. I am further advised that other staff employed by Corrections may have climate resilience and/or climate change mitigation as part of their broader responsibilities. This is also my response to WPQ 50063 (2024), WPQ 50064 (2024), WPQ 50072 (2024).
