Francisco Hernandez to the Minister for ACC: How many staff, if any, were employed in the Minister's departments, if any, on 1 July 2024 that worked on greenhouse gas emissions reduction efforts, categorised by whether they worked on organisational/corporate emissions reduction or nationwide emissions reduction or both?

Hon Matt Doocey: I am advised that as of 1 July 2024, ACC employed two full-time staff members to work on organisational initiatives regarding both climate change adaptation and greenhouse gas emissions reduction efforts. ACC further advises that within its Investments team, there were at least eight staff members whose roles had elements of climate change and emissions reduction on a national level. These were not, however, their full-time responsibilities.
