Francisco Hernandez to the Minister for ACC: How many staff, if any, were employed in the Minister's departments, if any, on 1 July 2023 that worked on climate change adaptation, categorised by work on corporate/organisational climate adaptation or national climate change adaptation or both?

Hon Matt Doocey: I am advised that on 1 July 2023, ACC employed one full-time staff member to work on organisational initiatives regarding climate change adaptation and greenhouse gas emissions reduction. ACC further advises that within its Investments team, there were at least eight staff members whose roles had elements of climate change and emissions reduction on a national level. These were not, however, their full-time responsibilities.
