49990 (2025). Lemauga Lydia Sosene to the Minister of Internal Affairs: Will income resulting from the Fire and Emergency Levy in 2025 match budgeted expectations, if not, what is the forecasted difference?

Hon Brooke van Velden: I am advised by Fire and Emergency New Zealand that that the forecast revenue from the Fire and Emergency Levy for the period 1 January to 31 December 2025 is $818.22 million. This is $13.55 million lower than budgeted, primarily due to lower-than-expected revenue during the January to June period.
