49904 (2025). Francisco Hernandez to the Minister for the Environment: How much Time off in Lieu, if any, was accrued by employees in the Minister's departments, crown entities and any other bodies that the Minister is responsible for, if any, as of 1 October 2024?

Hon Penny Simmonds: As at 1 October 2024, there were 379 days of Time Off In Lieu (TOIL) accrued by employees in the Ministry for the Environment. The Environmental Protection Authority cannot provide this information as their payroll provider cannot store leave balances in a way that can report on historical figures, they can only run a report with current balances as shown.
