49891 (2025). Francisco Hernandez to the Minister of Conservation: How much Time Off In Lieu, if any, has been accrued by employees in the Minister's departments, crown entities and any other bodies that the Minister is responsible for, if any, as of 1 October 2025?

Hon Tama Potaka: The Department of Conservation advises that as at 30 September 2025 (which is the closest reporting date to 1 October 2025) the total balance of Time off in Lieu (TOIL) accrued by employees was 1,554.53 days, which equates to 0.56 days on average per staff member.
