Hon Paul Goldsmith: I am advised that Crown entities and bodies have varying conditions of employment, including the application, or otherwise, of TOIL arrangements. I am advised that on 8 October 2025 (pay period end) employees at the Ministry for Culture and Heritage had accrued 390 hours of Time Off In Lieu (TOIL). As at 1 October 2025, Creative New Zealand employees had accrued 75 hours (10 days), the Museum of New Zealand Te Papa Tongarewa had accrued 385.38 days and the New Zealand Film Commission employees had accrued 18 days of TOIL. Heritage New Zealand Pouhere Taonga and New Zealand Symphony Orchestra employees had not accrued any TOIL.
