49831 (2024). Ricardo Menéndez March to the Minister for Social Development and Employment: What limitations, if any, will money management and an electronic payment card present for a beneficiary to repay debts?

Hon Louise Upston: I have signalled that a payment card could be used for essential items such as food. Full details are being finalised and are under active consideration. This is also my response to written parliamentary questions 49832 (2024), 49833 (2024), 49834 (2024), 49835 (2024) and 49861 (2024).
