49829 (2024). Ricardo Menéndez March to the Minister for Social Development and Employment: Why will money management be applied as a non-financial sanction to people who do not meet their obligations, rather than applied to any beneficiary who needs support with financial capability?

Hon Louise Upston: Money management is a non-financial sanction to encourage people to fulfil their work obligations when it could be a better alternative to a financial sanction. Support to improve financial capability is already available through the Ministry of Social Development to anyone 18 years or over.
