Hon Karen Chhour: Corrected reply: I am advised by Oranga Tamariki that insights gained through their annual contracting process identified significant retained earnings and cash equivalents held by some service providers. I am further advised that Oranga Tamariki in some instances has referred to publicly available information such as audited accounts for charities which can be found on the Charities Register. Contracting decisions are an operational matter and are the responsibility of the Chief Executive of Oranga Tamariki.
