49583 (2024). Hon Ginny Andersen to the Associate Minister of Police: How many of the guaranteed 500 police staff have been delivered, during July 2024, if any?

Hon Casey Costello: I am advised that as at 31 July 2024, there were 10,073 Full Time Equivalent Constables in Police. I note that Wing 376 graduated from the Royal New Zealand Police College on 1 August 2024. These graduates are not included in the 31 July 2024 total.
