49511 (2025). Shanan Halbert to the Minister for Vocational Education: How much money, if any, to date, has been paid out in Workforce Development Council redundancy payments?

Hon Penny Simmonds: I have been advised that the amount in redundancies paid by the WDC’s between 1 May 2025 – 13 October 2025 is $1,452,060.09. The process for Workforce Development Council staff members to express interest in roles at the Industry Skills Boards is currently active, so this figure will continue to change.
