49436 (2025). Hon Dr Ayesha Verrall to the Minister for Mental Health: When did the rural and remote rollout team launch on Great Barrier Island, if it has already launched, and if not, when is it expected to launch?

Hon Matt Doocey: The remote rural prototypes build on existing services and expand them. Health NZ signed letters of agreement with health providers in the 6 rural health prototype areas on specific service improvement they would work with them on. Letters were signed from July 2025 through to October 2025. That work has already begun and is due to be completed across the 6 areas by March 2026.
