Arena Williams to the Minister of Commerce and Consumer Affairs: What correspondence, including letters, emails, text messages, WhatsApp, signal, or any other form of electronic communication, if any, has the Minister or any member of their Office sent or received during the week beginning 5 August, to the Prime Minister’s Office by subject and date?

Hon Andrew Bayly: As part of the day-to-day administration of my office members of my office will send and receive emails relating to correspondence from the public or official information act requests which are transferred between ministerial offices for response by the responsible minister. I do not believe it is a good use of resource to collate and list these emails. Additionally, members of my office will send and receive emails relating to ministerial consultation of cabinet papers. I believe that the release of this information, at this time would prejudice the orderly and effective conduct of government decision making processes.
