49286 (2025). Francisco Hernandez to the Minister for Disability Issues: What is the proposed remuneration, if any, broken down by board and title, for crown appointees in the Minister's departments, crown entities and any other bodies that the Minister is responsible for, if any, for the 2025-26 financial year?

Hon Louise Upston: For the Ministry of Disabled People – Whaikaha I am advised remuneration for the New Zealand Sign Language Board Chair is set at $400 a day, and at $300 a day for Board members. Flights and accommodation are arranged by the Ministry of Disabled People - Whaikaha, with Board members able to claim for reasonable expenses such as petrol, and meals.
