49120 (2025). Francisco Hernandez to the Minister for Courts: What is the proposed remuneration, if any, broken down by board and title, for crown appointees in the Minister's departments, crown entities and any other bodies that the Minister is responsible for, if any, for the 2025-26 financial year?

Hon Nicole McKee: As Minister for Courts, I am not responsible for any Crown Appointees, nor Crown Entities. I am responsible for Judicial and Statutory Officers which can be classified as other bodies. Judicial and Statutory Officers are currently remunerated by the Ministry of Justice (the Ministry) for the 2025-26 financial year based on the Cabinet Fees Framework (CFF) Cabinet Office Circular CO (25) 2. I am advised the Ministry is assessing the implications of an updated CFF, released 28 July 2025, for judicial and statutory officers whose fees are set under this framework. Any proposed remuneration changes following this assessment are yet to be determined.
