Hon Simeon Brown: As part of our focus on putting patients first and ensuring all New Zealanders have access to timely, quality healthcare, I am advised that the current community dialysis treatment capacity is unlimited for those who dialyse independently. I am further advised that those who require assistance attend Health New Zealand-run facilities, such as Kidney Society Community Houses, which has a capacity for 48 patients in South Auckland.
