49056 (2025). Hon Jenny Salesa to the Minister of Health: How many people, if any, currently receive community based dialysis in South Auckland?

Hon Simeon Brown: I am advised that, as part of our focus on putting patients first and ensuring all New Zealanders have access to timely, quality healthcare, there are currently 247 patients currently dialysing in the community in South Auckland, 40 of whom are using the community houses for home haemodialysis.
