49041 (2025). Hon Jenny Salesa to the Minister of Health: What proportion of South Auckland patients receive facility-based vs home-based dialysis?

Hon Simeon Brown: I am advised that, as part of our focus on putting patients first and ensuring all New Zealanders have access to timely, quality healthcare, currently 29.6% of South Auckland patients receive home based dialysis and 48.1% are prevalent home therapy. The remainder receive in-facility dialysis.
