Hon Chris Bishop: The eight infrastructure initiatives that had a business case as part of an agency’s Budget 2025 submission to the Treasury and were then announced included the following: Department of Corrections • Responding to Increasing Prisoner Numbers – Redevelopment of Christchurch Men’s Prison Phase 1 Ministry of Education • School Property - Seismic Programme – Contingency Health New Zealand • Facilities Infrastructure Remediation Programme (FIRP) Tranche 3 – Critical Auckland Infrastructure • Nelson Hospital Redevelopment Programme – Project Two • Wellington Regional Hospital Emergency Department Refurbishment • Interim inpatient bed capacity for New Zealand hospitals. Parliamentary Service • Critical Capital Maintenance – Fire Sprinkler Pipework Replacement Heating Infrastructure Upgrade and Ground Floor Wind • Parliamentary Library South – Seismic Strengthening and Remediation
