48995 (2025). Ingrid Leary to the Minister for Mental Health: Will the Minster work with Barnardos to expand access to its services, including it's What’s Up helpline, a free counselling service for young people aged five to 19; if not, why not?

Hon Matt Doocey: There are a number of initiatives available for young people that currently exist, including but not limited to Mana Ake, Youth Access and Choice Services, and Headstrong. Any expansion of counselling services would go through Health New Zealand procurement processes.
