Hon Willie Jackson to the Minister for Social Development and Employment: What engagement or consultation was done with youth development organisations, such as, for example, Kick Back, regarding the government’s introduction of a parental income test for 18 and 19-year-old jobseekers?

Hon Louise Upston: No consultation was undertaken on the introduction of a parental income test. However, I have agreed for targeted engagement with a small group of stakeholders on the parental support gap test.
