Francisco Hernandez to the Minister for Tourism and Hospitality: What consultations are the Minister’s departments, agencies, crown entities and any other bodies that the Minister is responsible for, if any, planning to open on the week beginning Monday 29 September 2025 with employees around any changes to employment roles, employment numbers and any other employment conditions, and what is the proposed net change in roles?

Hon Louise Upston: As Minister for Tourism and Hospitality, I have no responsibility for any government departments or Ministries. With regard to Crown entities under the Tourism and Hospitality portfolio, I am advised that Tourism New Zealand has no planned consultations with employees opening the week beginning Monday 29 September 2025 regarding changes to employment roles, employment numbers or any other employment conditions.
