Francisco Hernandez to the Minister for Tourism and Hospitality: What consultations are the Minister’s departments, agencies, crown entities and any other bodies that the Minister is responsible for, if any, planning to open on the week beginning Monday 6 October 2025 with employees around any changes to employment roles, employment numbers and any other employment conditions, and when is any such consultation expected to close?

Hon Louise Upston: As Minister for Tourism and Hospitality, I have no responsibility for any government departments or Ministries. With regard to Crown entities under the Tourism and Hospitality portfolio, I am advised that Tourism New Zealand has no planned consultations with employees opening the week beginning Monday 6 October 2025 regarding changes to employment roles, employment numbers or any other employment conditions.
