Hon Karen Chhour: I am advised by Oranga Tamariki that 10% of the participants of the Military-style Academy Pilot were under a care and protection status at the time of first offence. 30% were under s101 Oranga Tamariki Act care and protection custody order at the time of the offence that led to their participation in the pilot military-style academy.
