48468 (2024). Hon Dr Duncan Webb to the Minister for State Owned Enterprises: Did Kordia pay any money to other parties to the contract to design and build the country’s new emergency service network as part of it pulling out of the contract or will it make such a payment in the future?

Hon Paul Goldsmith: I am advised that Kordia has not made a direct payment to the other parties to the contract as part of the commercial reset. However, Kordia has agreed to write-off approximately $8.5 million of contract work receivables owed to it by NGCC as a gesture of good faith and to support the new operational structure going forward.
