Debbie Ngarewa-Packer to the Minister for Māori Crown Relations: Te Arawhiti: What correspondence, including letters, emails, text messages, WhatsApp, signal, or any other form of electronic communication, if any, has the Minister or any member of their Office sent or received in relation to Marine and Coastal Area (MACA) since 1 May 2024, by subject and date?

Hon Tama Potaka: The subject matter the member has raised falls within the portfolio responsibilities of the Minister for Treaty of Waitangi Negotiations. My office deals with correspondence on a range of matters including the Marine and Coastal Area (MACA). I do not believe it is in the public interest to list each communication as it is not a good use of resources.
