48383 (2025). Vanushi Walters to the Minister of Foreign Affairs: How many, if any, of the New Zealanders currently detained in Israel or or in any of the Occupied Palestinian Territory have access to a local lawyer?

Rt Hon Winston Peters: I will not be commenting on the cases of individuals New Zealanders for privacy reasons, but the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Trade has made clear to Israeli authorities that detainees should be treated in accordance with international law.
