48380 (2024). Hon Ginny Andersen to the Minister of Police: How many arrests, charges, warranted and warrantless searches and seizures, if any, have been made for breaches of a Firearms Prohibition Order during July 2024, broken down by district?

Hon Mark Mitchell: I am advised that there has been no one charged for breach of Firearms Prohibition Order (FPO) offences in July 2024. Police search and seizure data identifies utilisation of the provisions of the Search and Surveillance Act 2012 (e.g., in relation to firearms s6 or s18) but cannot specifically identify being in relation to those specific offences.
