Vanushi Walters to the Minister of Foreign Affairs: In the Minister’s speech to the General Assembly on 27 September 2025, what, if anything, is his definition of his phrase “a grossly disproportionate response”, and does he not believe that “unfolding genocide” or “genocide” would be a more accurate description?

Rt Hon Winston Peters: As I said in my Ministerial statement on 7 October 2025, the nature of Israel's military response has been overwhelming, and we are appalled at scenes of violence and famine in Gaza.
