48357 (2024). Hon Ginny Andersen to the Minister of Police: How many individuals on the National Gang List, if any, have been charged with an offence during July 2024?

Hon Mark Mitchell: I am advised that 573 individuals, who are current validated patched or prospect gang members on the National Gang List, have been charged with an offence in July 2024. Please note that gang information is snapshot data, and some of these individuals may not have been gang members at the time of the charge, and conversely, there may have been people who were gang members at the time of the charge but are no longer recorded as gang members. Data in this response is drawn from a dynamic operational database and is subject to change as new information is recorded or updated. This is also my response to Written Parliamentary Question 48382 (2024).
