Hon Dr Megan Woods to the Associate Minister for Energy: Does he stand by his statement on RNZ on the 8th of August “The Minister of Finance, along with the Minister of Energy, are getting some urgent work done to look at what short term measures can we take, if indeed there are some deeper structural failings in the rules and the regulations governing the energy market?” and if so, what is the work, by title, that is being done here?

Hon Shane Jones: Yes, and I am undertaking work jointly with my ministerial colleagues in response to the current energy security of supply situation.
