48148 (2024). Lemauga Lydia Sosene to the Minister of Internal Affairs: What is the "set of criteria" that operators of online casino will need to comply with to offer services in New Zealand?

Hon Brooke van Velden: Officials from the Department of Internal Affairs are developing further advice for me on the detailed design of the regulatory system, including entry criteria and ongoing compliance by operators of online casinos. The criteria will include standards for harm minimisation, privacy practices, and consumer protection amongst other requirements. Further details will be announced in due course.
