Hon Penny Simmonds: I regularly receive correspondence from regional and unitary councils as part of my statutory responsibilities under the Resource Management Act 1991. My office handles a high volume of communications each week, and compiling a detailed record of this would require significant time and resources. I do not believe that listing each communication represents a good use of staff time.
