47994 (2025). Francisco Hernandez to the Minister of Health: What was the average wait time, if any, for customer service lines, if any, in the Minister's departments, crown entities and any other bodies that the Minister is responsible for, if any, as of 1 October 2025?

Hon Simeon Brown: Regarding Health New Zealand, I am advised that providing the Member with this information would require Health New Zealand to undertake a substantial manual collation exercise and divert staff from their core duties. I do not consider that the time, and hence the expense, of answering the Member’s question is in the public interest. I am further advised the Ministry of Health does not operate a dedicated customer service call centre where callers can be placed on call waiting.
